Things to see and do in the Mayan Riviera Eco Parks Xcaret, Xplor and Xel-Ha – Parks which offer many amenities such as cenotes, beaches, cave diving, snorkeling and some even offer swimming with dolphins or scuba diving for an extra charge. Kitesurfing – A good place is Tulum or Puerta del Cielo Snorkeling and Scuba diving – Probably the most common activity here as the second largest reef in the worlds extends across the entire Riviera. Cozumel and Isla Mujeres – Beautiful islands located close to Playa del Carmen and Cancun. Golf – There are opportunities for golfing in the Riviera. Deep Sea Fishing – Charter a boat or do a day trip with a tour company for some of the best fishing in the country. Zip Line – There are a few businesses that offer zip lining on the Riviera. Tulum – Beautiful Mayan ruins located overlooking the stunningly blue Caribbean Sea. After exploring the ruins you can visit the pristine beach so don’t forget your suit. Playa del Carmen – With attractions such as the shopping on avenue 5, the great beach clubs and superb restaurants, this is a great day trip from Cancun or Tulum.
