ITINERARY

Today we'll visit Xochimilco, a UNESCO site.  We'll also visit Univeristy town.  The adventure begins with a pick up in your hotel in the morning and drive to Xochimilco, an natural and important place commonly called the "Mexican Venice" and named by the UNESCO as Cultural Heritage of Humanity site. Here you will enjoy a traditional tour along the canals where you can observe the  flowers which grow up in the riverside.  Our guide will explain how the "Chinampas" are made as there is a special way to  cultivate the plants.

Then, we'll continue the day with a stop in the University town called CU, it's one of the most important universities in México.  You can see the  prehispanic features in the construction and many interesting paintings of O'Goman and Rivera.  These show the culture during the ancient epochs, the present and the future.  This collection is unique in its style and you certainly will enjoy it.
