Enjoy during the morning the presence of Kukulkan god in Chichen Itza, and visit the Sacred Cenote and the other mayan constructions. Our trip will begin in your hotel in Cancun, we pick you up early morning and drive 2.5 hrs to Chichen Itza. The name of Chichen Itza comes from the Mayan words: Chi (Mouth), Chen (hole or well) and Itza (Itza people). All together, these words mean "At the mouth of the Well of the Itza people".
The visit will be leaded by an expert and knowledgable guide, who will explain you about the beautiful architecture of the buildings and the way of living of the Mayan people. Explore the main buildings of this ceremonial city such as the Thousand Columns, the Observatory, the Ball Game, and walk over a "Sac beh" or white path to get to the Sacred Cenote.
Sometimes, in case that all of the passenger agree, there´s the possibility to go to the cenote Ik kil to have a dip, but it´s not always garanteed.
After the visit, you will enjoy Yucatecan food in Hacienda Xay Beh restaurant where local dancers will be performing Jarana.
