Uxmal & Kabah Day Tour From Merida
ITINERARY
Explore two of the most beautiful and detailed archaeological sites of the Yucatan, Uxmal and Kabah.
The excursion starts early in the morning when your Adventures Mexico guide picks you up at your Merida hotel. First we will visit Uxmal where the guide will explain in depth the architect style of buildings such as the Nun's Quadrangle, Ball court, Turtle House and the Governor Palace which are very unique here. The Governor Palace is the most famous structure in Uxmal because it is the best example of the Puuc Style.
After visiting Uxmal you will explore the site of Kabah, which is linked to Uxmal by a "sacbeh" or white road. Kabah is one of the stops of the Puuc Route and here you can find many structures with carved masks of the god Chaac, the god of rain.
Your last stop before you return to Merida will be a restaurant for a delicious regional meal.
