General Information

Mexico is a beautiful country, rich on almost every aspect to have any experience you want. it´s bordered by three different oceans, on the west and south the pacific ocean, on the southeast the Caribbean sea, and on the east the gulf of Mexico. Imagine all of the different ecosystems living there! When I said before that Mexico is  a very rich country I meant it on everything, sights, animal species, nature, traditions, food, people, customs, weather, and many other things.

A journey to Mexico is just a complete experience that you can´t miss. In this country so vast, there are different  kind of food for every state, the Mexican cuisine is not only tacos and beans, The state of Yucatan for example has its own cuisine like papadzules, cochinita pibil, relleno negro, queso relleno among many other dishes.

Oaxaca which is another state of the Mexican Republic is very particular too, you can experience the indigenous life, or at least witness it, in every corner you look at you are going to find culture, this state has some of the most representative ruins of the zapotecan culture like Mote Alban and Mitla. It also has beautiful little towns like Teotitlan del Valle and San Bartolo Jocotepec. Oaxaca also has a very varied cuisine. Just

Oaxaca is a great place for an educational trip, or why don´t you go on a family trip and put together the family life and the learning process? There is just so much to do, and to know, it has places for every taste.

If you are into ecotourism, and adventure tourism you have to go to Chiapas. You are going to enjoy everything nature has to offer, abundant rivers, magnificent mountains, volcanoes and impenetrable jungles like the Lacandon jungle. Very close to the capital city, Tuxtla Gutierrez is the Sumidero Canyon where you can take a boat ride.

At Palenque you will find some of the most important mayan constructions, ceremonial centers, with beautiful and mystical structures. Another national park located in Chiapas is named "Las cascadas de agua azul" (the blue waterfalls) which consists of many waterfalls followed each other to build a unique landscape and are also full of minerals. And if you want to add some adventure to your trip you can go zip lining, exploring the jungle, rafting in the rapids and many more things.

The list of why Mexico is so special will never end, you have to come and live and experience it on your own skin, and you will realize how difficult it is to describe it without missing any details because as you can see the are so much different thing to do.           Geografy and Weather        

It´s located on the southern part of north America, Mexico's total area is 1,972,550 km2  making it the 14th largest country in the whole world.

In the North shares border with the United States of America and in its south shares border with Belize and Guatemala.  

Mexico is one of the countries with more variety of climate in the world, it´s mostly divided into temperate and tropical zones, for example, in the North they tend to have lower temperature during winter. In the south, where the elevations go up to the 1000 m have a temperature between 24° and 30° specially in the Yucatan Peninsula. In the center of the country, around the Mexico Valley where you can find Mexico City they are above the 2000 m. so the weather is cooler and dry.

  As I mentioned before Mexico is very diverse and it´s recognized for that all over the world, it ranks in the first place in reptiles biodiversity with 707 known species! second in mammals with 438 species. fourth in flora with 26,000 different species and in amphibians with 290 species. besides this, Mexico is considered the second country in the world in ecosystems and fourth in overall species, it´s one of the 18 megadiverse countries in the world, with up to 200,000 different species! can you imagine that?, so, you can find very weird fiends over there!      

      Population  

The population in Mexico is 112,336,538 approximately and is very ethnical diverse. in ancient times there Mexico was populated by many indigenous groups, but the process called "mestizaje" started, which is basically the biological mixture between Europeans and indigenous.
