CENTRAL MEXICO

This region holds one of the most populated megalopolis of the word the Mexico City, located between two stunning snow capped volcanoes: the Popocatepetl and the Iztaccihualt, the former a still active one. To get the entire city visited you will need at least two or three days due to its numerous cultural, historical, artistic, arqueological, religious and metropolitan sites.

Nearby the big city is Cuernavaca, a popular weekend getaway among Mexicans, best know as the “City of eternal spring” which owns its name by the warm 73º F weather all year round.

Taxco and Puebla are other quaint cities worthy to visit, cities with a huge religious environment. The latter is famous for its nearly 70 churches besides its other colonial building which together make the historic center of Puebla one of the best preserved in Mexico , its “Talavera” work and the mixture of traditions. Taxco is the silver capital in country as well as one of the most picturesque and charming towns to visit.

This central part of Mexico its also the home of the granddaddy of all the beach resorts in the country: Acapulco. Where relaxation and fun mix in a beautiful environment refreshed by the Pacific Ocean waters.

  • TAXCO

    Taxco Mexico is a small but beautiful city located in Guerrero in the southwest .  It is a small city located in the mountains and is well known for silver, both mining and crafting.  Tourism is one of the main activity due to the silver mine and picturesque views of this small town.

  • PUEBLA

    Puebla Mexico is on the main route between Mexico City and the port of Veracruz and is one of the most important colonial cities in Mexico.  It was named a world heritage site in 1987 due to its history and architectural styles ranging from Renaissance to Mexican Baroque.

  • MEXICO CITY

    Mexico City is the capital of Mexico and one of the largest cities in the world.  It is an elegant, grand city with lots of public parks and art.  It is against the law to cut any tree and this explains the extraordinary greenery for "the biggest city in the world.

  • ACAPULCO

    Acapulco Mexico is one of the most well known and established beach resort towns and it still has a thriving nightlife and large tourism industry since its Golden days in 1950's.  If clubbing is not your thing then visit the La Quebrada Cliff and see the famous cliff divers.
