The prices shown in the Website are valid at the time of your reservation, before your booking prices may change without prior notice. The prices will apply when booking the desired service, otherwise the price might change. A reservation is considered complete when You have a Voucher and the proper charges have been applied. All the reservations are subject to availability at the time your request is being processed. Availability cannot be guaranteed until full payment is made. For some reservations we have to verify availability directly with our Reservation Department before being able to confirm them. Adventures Mexico asks for a maximum of 72 working hours to realize the availability verification and send you the proper Voucher. To avoid wasting time on the day of your tour, You need to print your Voucher and present it at the moment of requiring the paid service. If you wish to make changes or cancellations on your reservations please write as soon as possible to your assigned Travel Manager mentioning your name, service and date. Adventures Mexico suggests you read carefully the clauses of the different categories: Day Trips, Overnight Packages, Private Journeys, Airport Transfer and Shore Excursion as well as the Payment Policies. All changes in the reservations are subject to availability and recalculation of price. For more information You should contact your Travel Manager mentioning your name, service and date. For each confirmed reservation Adventures Mexico will send through electronic mail a Voucher that You must print and carry at all times.
Adventures Mexico has set the limit of luggage per person to ensure the comfort in your trip. The limit is a big bag of up to 23 kg / 50 lbs. and small hand bag. Its size cannot exceed 56 cm long and 35 cm wide and 23 cm high. If there is not enough room to store it baggage excess will result in extra charges. Please contact your agent if you carry more baggage Payment policies All of the Adventures Mexico services must be paid before the service is performed. We have several ways to receive your payment according to the product and what is best for You and Adventures Mexico. Before You make the full payment the reservation is considered just a request which grants no commitment, nor obligation to Adventures Mexico. The fees and prices might change without further notice during this time. Adventures Mexico is no liable for any extra charge done to You by the intermediary financial companies. All provided but not used services are not subject to reimbursement, nor reschedule.
Adventures Mexico accepts several payment methods for its different services.
In all cases Adventures Mexico will not cover the expenses generated by any fees that the Financial Companies make. Adventures Mexico is not liable for the amount charged by neither these fees, nor any other charge made during this financial movement. You agree to absorb and pay all expenses when you ask for a reimbursement or while performing a cancellation. To know the Reimbursement Policies of all of our products please read the Cancellation Policy in each one of them.
Adventures Mexico reminds You that when choosing a Shared Day Trip You understand that You will be sharing the tour with other people from different hotels, nationalities, and the times for both pick up, and drop off may be a little delayed. Therefore Adventures Mexico kindly asks you to be a little patient. If You made the payment online, Adventures Mexico will send you a voucher within the next 72 working hours confirming the reservation and guaranteeing the service. Please read carefully the voucher as in the voucher all the inclusions are written down. You have to print this voucher in paper and/or in an electronic device (smartphones, iphone, ipods, ipad, tablets, or any other electronic device) for any clarification or explanation about the service. For any of our shared Day Trips the waiting time for the reception of guests is fifteen (15) minutes. In case You do not show up it will be considered as a “No Show” (You are not in time and prepared to receive the service) and there is no reimbursement, nor will we re-schedule the Day Trip.
All of our Day Trips can be canceled with the proper cancellation request. The cancellation request needs to be written in an e-mail and there must be a response from Adventures Mexico within the next 24 working hours. If there is no written request the Day Trip is considered like it is still going as planned resulting in a “No Show” if you do not show up for the service. In case there is no response from Adventures Mexico please call the emergency mobile phone that is on your voucher. In order to get a 85% of reimbursement from a cancellation you need to send us a written request 72 hours before the event. There is no reimbursement for later requests.
These three elements are independent and autonomous, and the operation of each one is made in the same manner. For each product there will be a voucher indicating all the details of the service, with the inclusions and the exclusions. Please read every voucher carefully. Since they are independent, each product is subject to availability; therefore Adventures Mexico reserves the right to alter the order of the Day Trips noticing You via e-mail. When you buy the Overnight Package’s hotel services you are not paying to stay in a certain hotel, but rather in a hotel class or category. In case there is no availability in the suggested hotel, Adventures Mexico reserves the right to change the hotel to another with the same quality and similar features, letting You know during once the service has been confirmed in the voucher that Adventures Mexico will send you. In this case the whole process has a written backup that can be send to you via e-mail.
The cancellations for this product can be made by You for any reason or by Adventures Mexico due to lack of availability. In both scenarios the cancellation can be made for a specific product or for the whole Overnight Package. When the cancellation is made by Adventures Mexico You will get the full reimbursement of the specific canceled product.
The cancellations made by You follow the next indications:
All the cancellations need to be written in an e-mail to get the reimbursement regarding the day the cancellation is made:
You can cancel and get a reimbursement of 80% if You send the cancellation 31 natural days before the event takes place.
You can cancel and get a reimbursement of 50% if You send the cancellation between 30 and 16 natural days before the event happens.
There are no refunds for cancellations within the 15 days prior to the event. Adventures Mexico recommends You to make reservations at least 30 days before your expected departure date.
The reservation itself does not guarantee the service; You need a written confirmation given by Adventures Mexico to guarantee it. This confirmation will be send to you in a voucher within the next 72 working hours after the payment is done.
For this activity to be operated, Adventures Mexico requires the following information from you:
Shore Excursions are Day Trips that start at Progreso Port and are specially designed for the Cruise ship travellers. Adventures Mexico operation depends on the Free Shuttle provided for the Cruise Travellers by AutoProgreso Company, to bring them to one of the three possible drop-off points in Progreso. Adventures Mexico is not liable for the drop-off location provided by AutoProgreso. Since we do not have control over the drop off location Adventures Mexico commits to wait for our guests 60 minutes starting with the very first Free Shuttle from the cruise to the Port. After this time Adventures Mexico will consider the guest made a “No Show” hence making the charge and not having any reimbursement. To avoid this circumstance You have to provide a mobile phone number to Adventures Mexico in order to locate You as soon as possible for the tour to operate normally.
Adventures Mexico will always make the Pick-up at the AutoProgreso Bus Station located on street 82, between streets 29 and 27 in Progreso. You commit to get to the AutoProgreso Bus Station for the Pick-up. Adventures Mexico guarantees your return on time to the cruise as long as You always follow the directions of our guides. If by your petition or negligence You lose the last Free Shuttle, the cost for the taxi that is allowed to go to the Cruise will be paid by You. In case of force majeure, a blocking on the highway, certain weather conditions, or any act of God that delays us resulting in missing the Cruise Adventures Mexico will do its very best to arrange a Transfer, at your cost, to send you to the next port of call.
BY THE CRUISE LINE: 1. In case the cruise You are travelling with gets canceled before it sails you may have a 100% reimbursement as long as You notify Adventures Mexico in a written e-mail with at least 72 hours prior the event. This email needs an answer back from Adventures Mexico to consider the reimbursement. Just in case there is no answer you can call the emergency phone number written in your voucher. If there is no answer whatsoever from Adventures Mexico the tour will be considered as ongoing and a “No Show” may occurred causing the charge of the total amount with no reimbursement. 1. In case the Captain of the Cruise decides not to stop on Progreso Port for any reason, Adventures Mexico will do its very best to cancel all services and reimburse you as much as possible, in case you notify us as soon as you get noticed via e-mail. This email needs an answer back from Adventures Mexico to consider the reimbursement. Just in case there is no answer you can call the emergency phone number written in your voucher. If there is no answer whatsoever from Adventures Mexico the tour will be considered as ongoing and a “No Show” may occurred causing the charge of the total amount with no reimbursement.
