Let your ensemble shine on a unique 10-day performance tour exploring Mexico’s most culturally significant regions. This itinerary is crafted for school groups and student performers. From Mexico City to Guanajuato, and Guadalajara, your group will perform while exploring the essential highlights that reflect Mexico’s identity. At Adventures Mexico, we handle the logistics of instrument transport and rehearsal spaces, allowing your performers to focus on what they do best: creating breathtaking music in a landscape of pure inspiration.
Welcome to Mexico! Upon arrival in Mexico City you will meet your Tour Leader outside the airport. The driver will take you to the hotel.
Visit Chapultepec Park and its Castle, followed by a walk along Paseo de la Reforma. The afternoon is dedicated to a Rehearsal at Colegio San Idelfonso.
We embark on a City Tour through the Historic Center, visiting the Zócalo and Metropolitan Cathedral. In the afternoon, the group delivers Concert No. 1 at Colegio San Idelfonso.
Morning visit to the Frida Kahlo Museum (The Blue House) in Coyoacán. After exploring the artistic legacy of Frida and Diego, the ensemble prepares for Concert No. 2 in Colegio San Idelfonso.
Expedition to Teotihuacán to explore the Pyramids of the Sun and Moon. Following the tour, we begin our transfer to Guanajuato, where we conclude the day with a traditional Callejoneada.
The morning is reserved for a Rehearsal to adapt to the local acoustics. After a free afternoon for students to relax or explore at their own pace, the group gathers for Concert No. 3 at the Basílica Colegiata de Nuestra Señora de Guanajuato or Teatro Regional.
Transfer to Guadalajara with a stop in Tlaquepaque for a Hands-On Experience at the Arte Tonallí workshop, where students mold their own clay pieces.
In the morning, we head to JAPI (Jalisco Paseo Interactivo), a state-of-the-art museum where students use digital immersion to explore Jalisco's nature. In the afternoon, the group performs their Concert No. 4 at Ex convento de Carmen.
We head south to Lake Chapala, Mexico's largest freshwater lake. Students will also explore the town of Ajijic, known for their international community of artists.
After a final breakfast at the hotel, transfers will take the group and their equipment to the Guadalajara International Airport (GDL) for the journey home.
