Tour Plan

Day 1 Arrival in Mérida – A City of Contrasts and Color

Welcome to Mérida, the cultural heart of Yucatán. After settling into your boutique hotel or 4-star accommodation, enjoy a golden-hour walking tour of the colonial city center. Frame ornate doorways, pastel-colored buildings, bustling plazas, and local life under the warm glow of evening light. Optional visit to the Museo Casa de Montejo or Ateneo Peninsular  museum

Day 2 Yellow City & Cenote Light – Izamal & Arrival in Valladolid

Depart early toward Izamal, the “Yellow City,” a living canvas of ochre-painted facades, cobblestone streets, and horse-drawn carriages. Climb the Kinich Kakmó pyramid for panoramic views. After lunch, visit a hidden cenote nearby—ideal for artistic shots of natural textures, light beams, and reflections. Arrive in Valladolid by late afternoon and enjoy a peaceful evening.

Day 3 Colonial Valladolid – Stories in Every Frame

Spend the day immersed in the charm of Valladolid. Capture colorful walls, artisan markets, local people, and historic landmarks like the San Bernardino Convent and Calzada de los Frailes. Optional visit to Casa de los Venados, a private collection of Mexican folk art. Enjoy a special dinner in a restored colonial mansion.

Day 4 Ancient Echoes – Chichén Itzá & Return to Mérida

Visit your choice of archaeological site: Chichén Itzá, one of the New Seven Wonders, ideal for dramatic, high-contrast photography. Enjoy a regional lunch in a local hacienda before heading back to Mérida.

Day 5 Campeche Day Trip – A Coastal Palette of the Past

Travel west to the walled city of Campeche, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore brightly painted colonial homes, baroque churches, seaside bastions, and vibrant local life. Capture coastal light, symmetry, and streets frozen in time. End the day with a farewell dinner back in Mérida.
