A relaxed day of cultural immersion sets the tone for the nature-packed journey ahead.
Head toward the Huasteca lowlands and stop at the refreshing Tamasopo Waterfalls. Swim in crystal-clear pools beneath jungle greenery, then continue to the striking Puente de Dios—an otherworldly grotto carved by water. Transfer to Ciudad Valles, the base for upcoming adventures.
Spend the morning at the Micos Waterfalls, a playful set of cascades where you can swim, relax, or try the optional zipline. Afterward, choose between kayaking or guided cliff jumping on the upper Micos River. Return to Ciudad Valles for an easy evening in town.
Travel north to El Naranjo and explore three spectacular waterfalls. First, admire the seasonal El Salto, then continue to the year-round El Meco with its striking drop and turquoise water. Finish with a walk and swim at Minas Viejas, framed by lush jungle and stone terraces.
Embark on a rowboat journey where you will row along the Tampaón River to reach Tamul—the tallest waterfall in San Luis Potosí. Marvel at its force and beauty, then cool off in the nearby Cueva del Agua. This is one of the Huasteca’s most iconic natural experiences.
