8 Days / 7 Nights –  Mexico City • Querétaro • Guanajuato

Elevate your ensemble’s artistry on an unforgettable 8-day Performance Tour through the cultural spine of Mexico. This itinerary is created for school orchestras, marching bands, and choirs. At the different stages of Mexico City, Querétaro and Guanajuato, your group will not only perform but also immerse themselves in the architectural highlights that define the Mexican soul. At Adventures Mexico, we handle the logistics of instrument transport and rehearsal spaces, allowing your performers to focus on what they do best: creating breathtaking music in a landscape of pure inspiration.

Tour Plan

Day 1 Welcome to Mexico City!

Arrival at Mexico City International Airport (AICM) and private transfer to the hotel in the historic center.

Day 2 Rehearsal & Historic Center Exploration (Mexico City)

The morning is dedicated to a Rehearsal Session. In the afternoon, the group will embark on a City Tour through the Historic Center, visiting the Zócalo and Metropolitan Cathedral.

Day 3 Frida Kahlo Museum & Concert No. 1

Morning visit to the Frida Kahlo Museum in Coyoacán. In the afternoon, students will have their first concert at Colegio San Ildefonso.

Day 4 Teotihuacán & Transfer to Querétaro

We will visit Teotihuacán to explore the Pyramids of the Sun and Moon. After the tour a transfer will take the group to Querétaro.

Day 5 City Tour, Rehearsal & Concert No. 2 (Querétaro)

We explore the Querétaro, including the monumental stone Aqueduct and its historic center. In the afternoon, the ensemble prepares for Concert No. 2 at Museo Regional.

Day 6 Transfer to Guanajuato & City Tour in Guanajuato

We continue our journey with a transfer to the mountain city of Guanajuato, famous for its underground tunnels and silver mining history. Once we arrive and settle in, we would start with a City Tour through Guanajuato, visiting the Valenciana Mine and the Alhóndiga de Granaditas.

Day 7 Free morning, Rehearsal & Concert No. 3

Free morning for last minute shopping, afterwards the group will Rehearsal for Concert No. 3 in Teatro Principal or Basílica Colegiata de Nuestra Señora de Guanajuato.

Day 8 Departure from Guanajuato

After a final breakfast at the hotel, a transfer will take the group and their equipment to the Bajío International Airport (BJX) for their departure home.
