Day 1 Arrival in Cancún – Transfer to Valladolid

Day 2 Chichén Itzá, Tsukan Cenote & Melipona Honey Experience

Begin the day with a guided tour of Chichén Itzá, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Continue to Cenote Tsukan for a refreshing swim and a traditional Yucatecan lunch. In the afternoon, visit a Melipona bee sanctuary to learn about sacred Maya bees and taste their unique honey.

Day 3 Cooking with Chef Rosalia Chay in Yaxunah – Transfer to Mérida

Travel to the Maya village of Yaxunah for a once-in-a-lifetime traditional cooking class with Chef Rosalia Chay, featured in the Netflix series Chef’s Table: BBQ. Known for preserving ancestral culinary traditions, Rosalia invites you into her open-fire kitchen to prepare iconic dishes like cochinita pibil, cooked underground in a pib oven.

Enjoy a shared meal in her home and gain insight into the cultural legacy behind every bite. In the afternoon, transfer to Mérida and settle into your hotel in the historic downtown.

Day 4 Street Food, Paseo Montejo & Cantina Experience in Mérida

Enjoy a guided street food tour, tasting local favorites like salbutes, panuchos and cochinita tacos. In the afternoon, stroll along Paseo de Montejo, Mérida’s elegant avenue lined with historic mansions. End the day at a traditional cantina for drinks and botanas.

Day 5 Uxmal, Choco-Story & Cenotes at Hacienda Mucuyché

Travel south to explore the ancient Maya city of Uxmal, known for its intricate architecture. Then visit the nearby Choco-Story Museum to learn about the cultural role of cacao. In the afternoon, swim in the beautiful cenotes of Hacienda Mucuyché, surrounded by lush vegetation and colonial charm.

Day 6 Nature & Seafood in Celestún

Take a day trip to the Celestún Biosphere Reserve, home to hundreds of flamingos and mangrove forests. Enjoy a boat tour through the estuary and a delicious seafood lunch by the beach. Return to Mérida in the afternoon for free time or last-minute shopping.

Day 7 Departure from Mérida
