Arrive in Guadalajara, the birthplace of mariachi and tequila. Upon arrival, enjoy a smooth transfer to your hotel in the city’s historic center. Take the evening to explore the nearby plazas, or relax with a welcome cocktail on a rooftop overlooking colonial domes.
Start your day with a street food tasting tour at Mercado Libertad (San Juan de Dios), one of Latin America’s largest indoor markets. Taste tortas ahogadas, birria, tacos de barbacoa, and sweet jericallas while learning about their origins. In the afternoon, explore Tlaquepaque, a charming arts district full of galleries, artisan shops, and colorful colonial architecture. You’ll also visit El Parián, the largest cantina in the world, where you can enjoy live mariachi and sip a cantarito in a lively traditional atmosphere.
Head to Tonalá, a town famous for its folk arts and artisan workshops. Watch master artisans craft pottery, blown glass, and papel maché. Then continue to the Chapala region and visit a boutique vineyard. Enjoy a guided tour through the vines followed by a curated tasting of locally produced wines.

Learn about its production, from roasting to fermentation, and enjoy a guided tasting. Continue your scenic drive to Puerto Vallarta and settle in at your beachside hotel.
