After the tour market, your guide will take you to the local home by public transportation. Your local host will be waiting for you.
The cooking class will start and your guide and your host will teach you step by step how to prepare a three-course menu while you will be getting interesting facts. You will be able to taste some local fruits drinks and local beers.
Then, the table will be set and you will enjoy the delicious meals you prepared!

Tour Plan
On the way to Mérida’s main market, there will be a stop at the city’s main square, where you will receive a brief explanation about downtown Mérida.
You will arrive at the Lucas de Gálvez Market, where you'll be introduced to local gastronomy while tasting regional dishes and ingredients unique to this area. With the help of an ingredient list and your guide, you’ll also shop for the supplies needed to cook traditional Yucatecan dishes.
After the market tour, your guide will take you by local transportation to your host’s home.
Your guide and host will teach you step by step how to prepare a three-course menu. You’ll also get to enjoy some refreshing drinks.
