You declare that you are of legal age to use this site, to accept and be bound by these Terms and Conditions, and to be responsible for any legal obligations that may arise from your use of this site.

RESERVATION POLICIES

The rates shown on the website are only valid at the time of quotation. Rates apply only if the requested service is booked; otherwise, they may vary. A reservation is considered complete when you receive a voucher and payment has been processed. All reservations are subject to availability at the time of request. Availability cannot be guaranteed until full payment is received. For some reservations, we must confirm availability directly with the provider’s reservations department before confirming. Adventures Mexico requires up to 72 business hours to verify availability and issue your voucher. To avoid issues, you must print your voucher and present it when requesting your paid service.

If you wish to make changes or cancel your reservation, please contact your assigned travel advisor in writing as soon as possible, including your name, service, and scheduled date. Adventures Mexico suggests reading the policies for each category: Day Trips, Overnight Packages, Private Journeys, Airport Transfers, and Shore Excursions, as well as the Payment Policies. Any reservation changes are subject to availability and fare re-quotation.

LUGGAGE POLICY

To ensure your comfort, Adventures Mexico limits each person to one large suitcase (max. 23 kg / 50 lbs) and one small carry-on. Dimensions may not exceed 56 x 35 x 23 cm. Exceeding luggage may result in extra charges. Please contact your agent if you plan to bring more.

PAYMENT POLICIES

All services must be paid in full in advance. Until payment is received, reservations are only considered quotations and do not obligate Adventures Mexico. Rates may change without notice. Adventures Mexico is not responsible for additional charges from financial intermediaries. Unused services are not refundable or reschedulable. Payments are accepted as follows:

Paypal – via our website or official email link for custom services. Wire Transfer – accepted when requested or required. All receiving fees are covered by Adventures Mexico; sending fees are your responsibility. Cash – only accepted in Mérida, with 30% paid in advance via Paypal or transfer as agreed with your travel advisor.

REFUND POLICIES

Adventures Mexico will not cover financial fees associated with refunds. You accept full responsibility for such charges. Please refer to each product’s specific cancellation policies for more details.

 

DAY TRIP POLICIES

When booking a shared Day Trip, you acknowledge it will be shared with guests from different hotels and nationalities, and pickup/drop-off times may vary. Please be patient. If you paid online, you will receive a voucher within 72 business hours. This voucher must be presented (printed or digitally) to receive the service. A 15-minute waiting window applies for all shared Day Trips. Failure to show is considered a “No Show,” with no refund or rescheduling.

 

CANCELLATIONS

All Day Trips may be canceled by submitting a written cancellation request at least 72 hours before the event. Adventures Mexico will respond within 24 business hours. Without written notice, the Day Trip will proceed as planned, and absence will be considered a “No Show.”

If Adventures Mexico cancels the tour, you will receive a full refund for the affected part. If you cancel, a 15% fee applies for cancellations made more than 72 hours in advance. Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the event are non-refundable.

 

OVERNIGHT PACKAGES

Defined as a combination of:

  • Hotel nights
  • Airport transfers (private/shared)
  • Day trips (private/shared)

Each element operates independently and is subject to availability. Adventures Mexico may adjust the order of Day Trips and will inform you via email. Hotel category is guaranteed, but not the specific hotel. If unavailable, a similar quality hotel will be provided, and this will be confirmed in writing.

CANCELLATIONS

There are two types: client-requested and Adventures Mexico-initiated (due to operational needs). Cancellations can apply to a part or the whole package. If Adventures Mexico cancels, a full refund will be issued for the canceled portion.

Client cancellations must be made via email. Refunds depend on timing:

  • 80% refund if canceled more than 31 calendar days in advance
  • 50% refund if canceled between 30 and 16 days in advance
  • No refunds if canceled within 15 days

Reservations are not guaranteed until written confirmation is issued by Adventures Mexico (voucher sent within 72 business hours after payment).

 

AIRPORT TRANSFERS

To operate this service, you must provide:

  • Airline name
  • Flight number
  • Arrival or departure time
  • Hotel name

You must present your printed voucher to the driver or guide. If your flight is delayed, Adventures Mexico will honor the service for up to 2 hours after the scheduled time. Please notify us of delays.

 

FLIGHT CANCELLATIONS

If your flight is canceled and you fail to notify us by email, it will be treated as a “No Show,” and no refund will be issued. Immediate notice may allow rescheduling, but it is not guaranteed.

 

SHORE EXCURSIONS

These are Day Trips departing from the Port of Progreso designed for cruise passengers. Adventures Mexico relies on free shuttles provided by Autoprogreso to transport passengers from the ship to drop-off points. We are not responsible for the shuttle drop-off location.

We wait up to 60 minutes from the first shuttle arrival. If the guest does not arrive, it is considered a “No Show.” Please provide a mobile phone number for contact. Pickup is always at Autoprogreso Terminal on Calle 82 between 29 and 27.

We guarantee your return to the cruise ship if you follow the guide’s instructions. If you miss the last shuttle due to your actions, the cost of a taxi to the ship is your responsibility. In case of force majeure (road blocks, weather, etc.), we will do our best to arrange transportation to the next port at your expense.

 

CANCELLATIONS

  1. A) By the cruise: If your cruise is canceled before departure, you will receive a 100% refund if you notify us in writing at least 72 hours in advance. You must receive confirmation from us for the refund to apply. If no response is received, call the emergency number on your voucher.

If the captain cancels the stop at Progreso, notify us as soon as you are informed. We will try to cancel services and refund as much as possible. Confirmation from Adventures Mexico is required for a refund.

  1. B) By the client: Cancellations must be submitted via email and confirmed by Adventures Mexico. Otherwise, the service will proceed as planned. If no confirmation is received, call the emergency number on your voucher. To receive an 85% refund, cancellations must be made at least 72 hours in advance. No refunds for cancellations made later.

Changes in this Terms and Conditions

Any substantial/major/ or total change that is performed in this Terms and Conditions can be made by the agency through our website www.adventures-mexico.com
