Day 1 Welcome to Mexico!
Welcome to Mexico! Upon arriving in Mexico City you will meet your Adventures Mexico tour guide and then by transferred to your hotel.
Day 2 Chapultepec Castle – Mexico City Tour
You will start your journey visiting the Chapultepec Castle, once home of Maximilian of Hapsburg and his wife Carlota, emperors of Mexico during the vice royal period. Situated inside Bosque de Chapultepec, this iconic building is a construction that has kept its beauty throughout time. After lunch, you will have a walking tour which includes most of the Mexico City attractions: the Zocalo (or Plaza de la Constitución), the main square of the city, the National Palace, the Catedral Metropolitana and the Palace of Fine Arts.
Day 3 Shrine of Our Lady de Guadalupe –Teotihuacan
You will have a guided visit to the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe. After lunch, a short drive will take you to the ancient ruins and pyramids of Teotihuacan, also known as the City of the Gods. This is the most visited archaeological site in Mexico and the most important ancient city of the Aztec Civilization. After the visit, you will have time to enjoy the city on your own.
Day 4 Queretaro
You will continue your trip going to one of the most beautiful Colonial gems of Mexico, the city of Queretaro, named a UNESCO World Heritage Site. As you walk along Queretaro's cobblestone streets, you will discover Teatro de la Republica, Corregidora's House, the iconic Aqueduct of the City and the most beautiful buildings with the colonial baroque style. You will also visit the ancient convents that holds historic exhibitions inside their walls.
Day 5 Visit San Miguel de Allende – Transfer to Guanajuato
Today, you'll head off to the breathtaking city of San Miguel de Allende. You will experience firsthand why San Miguel is one of the most appealing cities in Mexico. You will be astonished by its art, walking through the colonial streets of this colorful town. You will find local artists, street vendors, handcrafts and music by artist performing at the kiosk of Plaza Allende. You will be impressed by the beautiful pink color of Parroquia San Miguel Arcangel towers; this church is famous for its neo-gothic style, making it the most emblematic building in the city. After your visit, you will spend the night at Guanajuato city.
Day 6 Guanajuato
This morning, you will wake up to the birds singing in Guanajuato. Here you have it all! History, art, architecture, music, etc. Walking along the streets, you will learn about Mexican History at the Alhondiga de Granaditas and the Monumento al Pipila; these buildings take you back in time to the Mexican Independence; you may want to have your picture taken at Callejon del Beso (Alley of the Kiss) and walk through the underground tunnels of this beautiful place.
Day 7 Explore Guadalajara
Today you will drive to explore Guadalajara, one of the three most important cities in Mexico and home of some of the nation's most important cultural symbols: Mariachi, Tequila, Sombreros and Mexican Rodeos. You will be visiting the Historic Center where you will find the emblematic Guadalajara Cathedral, Degollado Theatre and the Regional Museum. At night, you will visit Paseo Chapultepec, locally known as Chapu; in this avenue you will find the most diverse street vendors: jewelry, sombreros, coffee, clothes, handcrafts… Chapultepec avenue is surrounded by restaurants and bars where you can enjoy a pleasant dinner.
Day 8 Tlaquepaque – Tequila
You will visit San Pedro Tlaquepaque, where ceramics, glass, jewelry and many other crafts are found. After Tlaquepaque you will have an excursion to the town of Tequila, where the quintessential Mexican liquor is produced. You will see great plantations of the agave plant which is used to produce Tequila. Don't forget to sample some at any of the distilleries found everywhere in this town.
Day 9 Hasta pronto Mexico! or optional Extension- Puerto Vallarta (3 Days 2 Nights)
You have lived so many experiences during your journey. Today, you will be transferred to Mexico City airport to board your homebound flight back home. You will return with lasting memories of colonial cities, ancient cultures, and a many new friends! Hasta pronto Mexico!
Day 10 Free time at Puerto Vallarta
  • Enjoy your free time in Puerto Vallarta.
  • Visit shops, cafes, bars and markets.
  • Discover Los Muertos Beach and Mismaloya Beach.
  • Explore the Cuale River Island.
  • Visit Los Arcos Natonial Marine Park.
  • Have a beautiful view of the city from the Lookout on the Top of Cerro de la Cruz.
Day 11 Hasta pronto Mexico!
  • Transfer to Mexico City International Airport.
  • Flight back home.
