Overview
Guanajuato is a central city in Mexico. It is known for its silver mining history and colonial architecture. Its network of tunnels, passages and narrow streets is represented in the Alley of the Kiss, so called because the balconies are so close to each other that a couple manages to kiss. In an old barn, you will find the Alhóndiga de Granaditas local history and art museum, with pre-Columbian exhibits.
